In the rural coastal town of Pitogo, Quezon — far from the bustle of Metro Manila — a small church is quietly changing lives. New Hope Pitogo is a church plant of New Hope to Asia, and it stands as a living testimony that God’s love knows no distance.
What began as a mission outreach to a remote community has grown into a thriving fellowship of children, youth, and families who gather faithfully under a simple tin-roofed structure with bright blue walls and a banner that reads “Christian Fellowship.” Led by Pastor Ding, New Hope Pitogo carries the same heart as its mother church in Cainta — winning the next generation for Jesus.
The team from New Hope to Asia regularly makes the journey to Pitogo, bringing not just supplies and programs, but presence — a reminder to this community that they are seen, that they are loved, and that the church in Cainta continues to walk alongside them.
Christmas With the Children
This past December, the team brought the love of Jesus and the joy of Christmas to the children of New Hope Pitogo. Excited kids packed the small church for a celebration where the Christmas story came alive through a creative skit — with characters in full costume performing right in front of them on the church floor.

Every child received a “Bag of Hope” filled with blessings — snacks, toys, and even shirts. Watching their faces light up as they held their colorful bags was a powerful reminder that even the simplest gifts, given with love, can plant seeds of faith in young hearts.

Encouraging the Teens
The team also spent meaningful time with the teenagers of New Hope Pitogo — worshipping together through songs, strengthening their bond as one family in Christ. It was a powerful moment to pray over them and believe for God’s plans to unfold in their lives.
As a special Christmas blessing, the teens were gifted with Bags of Hope and Walk for Hope shirts — reminders that God’s love and promises reach across every distance.

Growing in Grace
What makes New Hope Pitogo’s story so beautiful is the growth. Many of these teenagers were once the small kids who attended the very first Superkids outreach in Pitogo. Now they are growing in grace in the Lord, dreaming big, knowing that Jesus can give them hope and a future.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
